Pellegrini and the 2022 Copa del Rey

Chilean coach Manuel Pellegrini took charge of Betis in 2020. In 2022 he led the club to the Copa del Rey, beating Valencia on penalties in the final. Betis' only league title dates from 1935.

2023/24: Plaza Nueva in the stripes

The Real Betis 2023/24 home shirt by Hummel has green and white stripes with diamonds in the green bands, inspired by the paving of the Plaza Nueva in Seville, and 'SEVILLA' on the hem. Willian José was the club's top scorer that season, with Ayoze Pérez and Isco as key attackers. Betis finished seventh in La Liga.

2024/25: the Conference League final

In 2024/25 Betis reached the Conference League final. On 28 May 2025 they lost 4-1 to Chelsea in Wrocław, after Abde Ezzalzouli had given Betis the lead in the ninth minute. Isco, Giovani Lo Celso, Cédric Bakambu and Antony, on loan from Manchester United, were the big names that season. In La Liga, Betis finished sixth. The Real Betis 2024/25 jackets come from that season.
